Antiviral agent – amantadine derivative.

Remantadin® is effective against influenza viruses of type A, as well as has an anti – toxic effect in cases of intoxication caused by influenza virus of type B. Remantadin® inhibits the viral replication cycle in early phases, possibly, by delaying the development of a viral capsid. Remantadin® is effective against flaviviruses caused by tick – borne encephalitis.

Therapeutic indications:

• Early treatment of influenza virus infection in adults and children over 7 years of age
• Prevention during influenza epidemic for adults and children from the age of 7 years old
