Nootropic medicine.

Phenibut, the active substance of Noofen®, can be considered either a derivative of g – aminobutyric acid (GABA), or a derivative of b – phenylethylamine. Noofen® possesses both a nootropic effect and tranquilising effect.

Therapeutic indications:

• Asthenic and anxiety related neurotic states: unrest, anxiety and fear in elderly patients – insomnia and anxiety at night; prevention of stress condition before surgeries
• Prevention of kinetosis
• In children – stammering and tics
• Auxiliary medication for the compensation of alcohol abstinence syndrome
• Ménière’s disease and vertigo that is associated with the dysfunction of the vestibular system
